Specifically, the fire is said to have occurred around 12:07AM, with the local fire department having successfully put it out. On another note, the TM Node also acted as a backbone and provided backhaul connectivity to local telcos such as Celcom. On that note, Celcom also confirmed that the TM node had indeed caught fire and that its mobile coverage within the Seberang Jaya area may have been affected. In an official Twitter statement, the telco said that its technical team was hard at work to get its services back up as soon as possible.
