One of it, is the name of John Boyega’s character in the new Star Wars trilogy. As we know, Boyega’s character was a stormtrooper with the number FN-2187. When he meets Poe in The Force Awakens, the fighter pilot decides that he should have a name and calls him Finn. But did you know that FN-2187 is actually an Easter Egg? It was revealed on the Star Wars official Twitter account that the number ‘2187’ is actually a reference to a tiny detail in A New Hope. “Finn’s stormtrooper number was FN-2187. The # is a homage to cell 2187 located in detention block AA-23 on the Death Star, the cell of Princess Leia in A New Hope. Cell 2187 from ANH is a ref. to “21-87” a National Film Board of Canada short that inspired a young George Lucas.”
