The Nikon Z50 features a 20.9MP sensor, a quieter shutter, powerful ISO range of up to 51200, a high autofocus performance even in lowlight at -4 EV, and is capable of 11fps in high-speed continuous shooting. Video-wise, the camera is able to capture videos of up to 4K UHD without crop, and time-lapse movies with in-camera stitching.

The Z50’s body is made with lightweight magnesium alloy to complement its compact size, while also featuring a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD display which is capable of tilting 180-degrees for self-portraits or attempting odd angled shots. With YouTube and Instagram creators in mind, the camera also includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity to allow instantaneous media sharing to the user’s phones or laptops. Along with the new Nikon camera also saw the debut of two new Z lenses from the company; the Nikkor Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR kit lens, and the Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR lens. These lenses can be bundled up with the Nikon Z 50 or purchased separately. The camera is also compatible with current Nikkor Z series lenses, and also a wide range of other lenses from Nikon via a FTZ adapter.

The new Nikon Z50 is available now and is priced at RM4098 for body only, RM4598 when bundled with the 16-50mm kit lens, or RM5398 when bundled with both of the new Z lenses.
