In terms of aesthetics, the PS63 Modern looks alot like MSI’s GS75 Stealth and GS65 Stealth gaming notebooks, quite literally. The device is thin and light, weighing at just 1.6kg, and even sports the same grill vent design. Both at its sides and at the spine. It even has that same larger than average trackpad built into the bottom of the base. The only difference between this trackpad and the phone on the GS75 and GS65 being the built-in fingerprint scanner at the top left corner.

Hardware specifications for the PS63 Modern includes Intel’s latest and most powerful 8th generation Core i7 CPU, a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD for lightning fast load times, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. It’s display is a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel, which serves as an output for a choice between NVIDIA’s MX150, GeForce GTX 1050 or 1050 Ti. The icing on the cake for the PS63 Modern is its battery life. On a single charge, MSI says that this notebook can go on for 16 hours continuously. Before ever calling out to a wall socket to recharge. Additionally, the notebook also features Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3 technology, giving users the ability to fast-charge their smartphones.

As usual, there’s still no word on local availability or pricing for the notebooks. The good news is that this isn’t a GeForce RTX-driven notebook, and therefore it could head out before its gaming counterparts sooner rather than later.
