So what exactly is the Indie Games Accelerator bootcamp? In essence, it’s a four-month program where promising developers, selected by Google, are trained to successfully build, scale, launch and market their games. And Google emphasizes that it wants to make sure participants won’t just market their next game successfully, but every other subsequent endeavour as well.

Part of the program includes being mentored by senior members of the game development circle, as well as personnel from Google. Throughout the program, they not only learn to make and test their game, but also to grow and lead their company. Participating indie developers who graduate will also have their games highlighted in the Google Play Store. This is simply because – being part of the process – Google can confidently vouch for the quality of the games.
