HBO purchased the worldwide rights to Bat Education for $US 20 million. The film is based on a 2004 New York magazine article penned by Robert Kolker (Lost Girls). What’s utterly interesting is that Bad Education‘s scriptwriter Mike Makowsky was actually a Roslyn student when this huge scandal broke.
